The product designed is the Cover parts of automotive Battery. According to the plastic Battery cover product chart, analyzes the features and process of the parts, compares some kinds of plans and determines the structure of mold. Then under the UG 5.0 environment to create product model , mainly is analyzing the housing characteristic, thread characteristic and hole characteristic to complete the forming.; then based on the Mold Flow platform ,analyze the forming process of products simply. The next step is to complete three-dimensional assembly of the major design;next, based on product modeling, import into Mold Wizard environment for 

the choice of coordinate system, the determining of the shrinkage, curving the surface, designing the casting system,choosing the Mold base, and designing the ejection system, the cooling system, and so on. Finally, completes the structural design,  Exports from the UG by the DWG format and modifies the wrong by the Auto CAD software, and draws up the engineering plat.
