With the rapid development of modern industry, mold technology has been more and more widely used, especially in the automotive, electronics, electrical, instrumentation, commodity industry.

Injection molding is a shaping member of the main methods, is the use of thermoplastic injection molding machine under high pressure line of the plastic melt is injected into the product obtained by cooling the mold to solidify. Advantages injection is to produce fast, high efficiency, operations can be automated, complex shape can be molded parts, especially suitable for mass production.
The knowledge I learned from the design is very different from which I learned from the class. There are many problems during the design process, how to solve them, which I learned will be very helpful for my future work and life. During the design, I read a number of books about product design and the reference data of plastic mold design, combining with the designing software Pro / Engineer Wildfire 4, AutoCAD 2008 and moldflow6.1, mastercam9.1pipe products and mold design to accomplish the preliminary design of the mould.
