Mold is an important setup in modern industry. In manufacturing industry,60~90 percent of products utilize mold. Molding industry has been a essential factor of industry development. A number of new products’ developments considerably depend on mold making. Therefore, it is significant for national economy to research and improve mold technology.  The dissertation introduces the design of injection plastic mold for the button linked belt. the mold made by ABS is small size and common precision.
Firstly, The dissertation mainly explains the designing process of the mold.
Secondly, The dissertation analyses shaping craft and devises the shaping strategy. The mold adopts one mold and four- cavities and side pull. The dissertation gives fully analysis to the making process.
Thirdly, the dissertation focuses on the analysis of the design of injection plastic molds for the button linked belt , including: side pull design; structural part design; decision of  parting plane;  assurance of cavity number; design of gating system; design of sliding block ; strength verification, etc. Lastly, the dissertation demonstrates the feasibility of the design.
